2009: Read All About It!

Thank you for generously supporting Greenpeace in our efforts to protect the planet. In 2009, you helped us pressure Kimberly-Clark, the world’s largest tissue manufacturer, to change its practices and enact new policies that protect forests; you helped us organize the largest ever mass mobilization on global warming in US history right here in our nation’s capital; and you joined your voice with ours to tell Trader Joe’s that endangered species of fish are not for sale. Our own staff member Khafre James wrote and performed this song for you as a small measure of our gratitude.

You got the well educated part right.

  2. Moordrecht says:

@ bombaykaizoku: Lemme guess, you are a rich, well educated, republican high positioned young fellow with issues?

  3. khaf1 says:

@bombaykaizoku I guess not but Greenpeace is filled with people who actually care about the travesties that are taking place in our world and hippies are in the minority! and i dont think my song was idiotic at all:)

  4. bombaykaizoku says:

@khaf1 what? Did I say something about global warming?

  5. khaf1 says:

I hate when people label their opposition with across the board ignorance and a social class that implies them being less! More scientist who are extremely versed in the education necessary to understand the climate and our effects on it believe in climate change and the warming of the globe as a whole. And you don’t see me addressing you guys as racist red-neck neo-cons who don’t mind that Sarah Palin thinks she knows foreign policy cuz Russia can be seen from an island in Alaska!

  6. bombaykaizoku says:

@rainbowlollipop1000 no helping the environment is great helping a bunch of ineffectual hippies that remain largely uneducated about the environment and therefore make poor suppositions on how to protect it is something to hesitate about.

Besides this ridiculous video and idiotic song speak for themselves.

  7. rainbowlollipop1000 says:

as a greenpeace acivist one ting i don’t understand is why people are so hesitent to help the enviroment. Though they may not believe in global warming is it really that bad not to help the enviroment?? i mean don’t they know that everything in the world is connected? like the food chain, so if a species of animals becomes extinct then EVERYTHING is affected or if one body of water is polluted then EVERYONE who needs that water will die. So is it really so hard to just stop and help?

I’m very proud to be a Greenpeace volunteer and to work with them to overcome the evil agenda of the global warming denier cult and the carbon collaborators they sell out our kids to.

  10. DeserveLiberty says:

How come the music sounds so ominous? Wake-up, “Environmentalism” is not about saving the earth, its about enslaving the people.

  11. satp100 says:

Anyone not applauding this video must be visiting this planet, returning to Neverland soon and therefore blissfully unaffected by what’s going on here. Thanks Greenpeace for striving for our planet and our future

  12. BlueSkies360 says:

I can’t believe it–marxist’s face on the Mount Rushmore. I have stopped supporting Greenpeace a year ago, after I noticed that this movement is green on the outside, red on the inside. Just another watermelon company…

  13. carlosica2 says:

I WANT THIS SONG, it is DOPE!!! Please tell me where I can download it!

  14. livlilly8 says:

Thankyou for all that you do and risk to help save our planet. I am so grateful that GREENPEACE exists!

  15. lachimnamlok says:

    Great video, thanks a lot :-) .

  16. Bennrush says:

you rock! – and so does the sound track. It is good to know that ignorance is not a prerequisite in order to be human.

  17. Dajuhan2u says:

No problem Greenpeace with the tissue paper issue. I will just wipe my ass on you instead.

  18. alexkvaskov says:

keep going guys, you should be an inspiration for all of us

  19. betterpresident09 says:

The banner on Mt. Rushmore was amazing and I’m proud of Greenpeace and to have participated on a few of their events. Rock on.
