How can I organize my recipes from Everyday Food magazine?
By admin on Feb 09, 2010 with Comments 4
I subscribe to EF, and have kept all of the issues for the past 18 mos. I use small post-its to flag which recipes I want to try, but I need to find a different way to organize this! I can’t flip through all of my issues every day when I’m trying to plan dinner. Any suggestions? I’d prefer not to rip recipes out & throw away the rest of the issue. Thanks!

buy a notebook with those full clear sheets, I used to do this with my VW magazines, I would tear out the whole page and insert it into these clear pouch notebook things,
since you dont want to rip the recipes out you’ll have to make copies (using scanner or photo copy) OR you’ll just have to type them out on Word and print them out. then as the someone already stated insert the individual recipe into a plastic page protector. they come hole punched already and in pkg. of three. i get three for a dollar at the dollar store. put all your covered recipes into a three ring binder. get one of those binders that have clear pockets on the outside. you can use that pocket for other recipes that you do tear out or print out from other sources. or you can just put in pictures of your friends and family enjoying your recipes. dont forget to put in a table of contents and get yourself some tabs(colored) to seperate your entrees, desserts, breakfast items, drinks, appetizers..etc… have fun!
Scan them and save them in your computer. Then, you can get rid of the magazines and have them organized.
I know this might be a bit more work than you want, but why don’t you put them on Microsoft Word, and save it ot a disk or cd.
